Diamond Painting 101 - How to Inventory Your Kit

By Anne - June 18, 2018

I've had a few complaints from family and friends that I've gotten them addicted to diamond painting and then left them high and dry when their first kits come. It's not that I don't want to help, I just don't live close enough to all of my loved ones to be able to give them personal coaching through things like how to inventory a kit, or load a drill pen.

Diamond painting isn't hard, in fact it's probably one of the easiest crafts I've ever done, but it can be overwhelming when you open your first kit!

So I'm going to fix that with a set of tutorial videos; Diamond Painting 101. I'll walk you through the basics of getting started, we'll go over a few of the most commonly asked questions, as well as some of the most common problems you might run into.

This first one is easy; your kit has finally arrived! Now what?!?

If you find you are missing drills when you've finished inventorying your kit, contact the seller on AliExpress or Amazon, or return it to the brick and mortar store you purchased it from for a refund or exchange. Most internet sellers will send out replacement drills, if they refuse, file a dispute with the hosting company. You purchased a complete kit, and you deserve to get a complete kit!

You can also purchase packs of drills online if you're desperate. My favorite store for drills is Golden Panno on AliExpress.

The kits shown in the video are:

Egyptian Queens from EverShine

Landscape Triptych from Amazon

If you have any questions about how to inventory your kit, let me know in the comments and I'll answer them as best I can!
